Delia what have you done??

I can't believe it!  Delia Smith is cooking FROM A TIN!  I am appalled.  The lady of the 100 ingredient recipe has sold out.  We don't cook the Delia way for fun - we cook the Delia way because we have a weekend to waste.

Come back Nigella - all is forgiven!!

Apparently it's a refresh of one of the first books she ever wrote.

Personally, I am appalled as well. I thought we were supposed to be being encouraged to cook from scratch and avoid additives etc., yet she's encouraging us to use processed food?!

She has to appeal to the masses ie people like me!! but then again why would you need a receipe book to cook from a tin???

At least a tin has instructions on it, you don't have to buy a recipe book and manufacturers can recycle all sorts of waste food into a tin and disguise the ingredients - very green (making)

We all love Delia because she cooks high fat, comfort food that takes loads of ingredients. I can't say I use her books very often but at least it is real cookery. As for frozen mash......a great ingredient I am sure but is it fun to watch on TV - NO! I want to see her slaving over a hot stove. Most upset!!
