Empty nest - well almost!

The French boys went back this morning.  *sob*

It has gone too fast and it is amazing how attached you can get in a few days.  They have become progressively more confident over the last couple of days.  Callum has probably learnt more French than they have English and that has been mostly limited to "alors!".  We have a 3 year old who now says "oh la la!" which I thought was a stereotype - they really say it!  LOL!  Communication has been mostly slapstick.  It works internationally!!

It has all gone really well.  Mr Bean was a good choice of viewing as he says very little and the humour is visual.  All the children were laughing.  Pizza was a good choice of food.  I don't think they had made it from dough before but they got the hang of it pretty quickly.  The interaction has been wonderful.  The house has been filled with laughter.  The children have got on famously and the boys have been delightful.  We will miss them.

So back to 4 children.  The house feels empty!
